With a maintenance contract, you have a better idea what maintenance will cost. For all other issues, including the cost of equipment and labor, we can give you a quote and discuss it with you.
Why does it cost so much to run my HVAC system?
The reason this is among our top five HVAC questions is because homeowners want to save money on their energy bills. Saving on energy starts — naturally — with purchasing and installing efficient equipment, but it also happens when you make your house efficient by fixing air leaks, blocking solar radiation, insulating exterior walls and the attic, and using fans strategically. Changing the air filter regularly will also help save on energy.
Should I upgrade my thermostat?
Homeowners want to know how the next level of thermostat, be it programmable or Wi-Fi, will operate and whether it will save them money.
Why isn’t my unit cooling or heating?
Most often, this is affected as the unit ages. It may be time to talk about replacement if you have an older (at least 10 years old) unit.
Should I repair or replace my HVAC system?
Again, it depends on how old the system is. With a system that’s more than a decade old, you may be better off replacing it rather than continuously paying for repairs.
